PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Special liquid glue for assembling plastic model kits and with a fine needle-shaped nozzle that enables very precise application as well as access to parts that are difficult to reach. A thin liquid adhesive which forms a tough elastic and crystal clear adhesive film.
FIELD OF APPLICATION
Suitable for bonding on a number of plastics such as polystyrene and impact polystyrene types (ABS, SAN, SB, ASA), polyvinyl chloride (PVC) hard and soft, Plexiglas (PMMA), Celluloid®, cellulose ester (CN, CAB), polycarbonate (PC). Additionally, Plast special also glues other materials such as wood, paper, cardboard (in connection with the above mentioned plastics).
Not suitable for polyamide (PA), acetol resin (POM), polyethylene (PE), polypropylene (PP), polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE), silicon (Si) and foamed polystyrene (is attacked).
PROPERTIES
· Forms a hard but flexible bonding film with a thermoplastic character · Temperature resistant from –30°C to approx. +90°C as well as against water, oil, petrol and alcohol. · Fine needle-shaped nozzle for precise application and to reach areas difficult to access · The following maximum values were determined: plexiglas 3.0 N/mm² polystyrene 3.4 N/mm² hard PVC 4.3 N/mm² polycarbonate 4.5 N/mm² ABS 6.5 N/mm² material rupture
PREPARATION
Personal safety: It contains volatile, highly flammable solvents. Therefore corresponding safety measures should be taken regarding processing and storage.
Surface Requirements: The surface must be dry, clean and free of dust and grease.

APPLICATION
Directions for use;
Depending on the requirement, apply to one or both of the materials to be joined and stick together immediately. Initial bond strength is attained after 5 - 10 minutes. The high bond strength of Plast special is attained by melting the plastic surface. For this reason, the adhesive should only be applied in small quantities to thin walled plastics.
Stains/residue: Smeared adhesive and stains can be removed with acetone or thinner for nitrocellulose lacquer.
